HRD Coffee Shop

Another Diners Drive-ins and Dives restaurant to try. We've already checked off our list Broken Record (too bad we didn't have pictures of this) and Sol Food. We were doing a lot of errands in downtown San Francisco so we decided to eat here since its also cheap (according to the show). There was a line when we got there but the service was fast so we didn't wait long. Because we're foodies, of course, we ordered the specials. BBQ Pork over rice for Emil and Short Ribs Bibimbap for me. The BBQ Pork was served with rice, egg and a side of broccoli while mine was served with kimchi, bean sprouts and lots of other vegetable which actually covered the rice. It was hard enough for me to eat using a knife from a bowl and add the scavenger hunt for my rice because of the amount of veggie sides. The good thing is, the vegetables were good enough and the kimchi wasn't spicy enough that I could eat them.

Each was less than $10 and it was really worth it when you see how big the servings are.Like Sol Food, the entrees were served in serving dishes. Imagine how big those are!

The food was really good. The taste was good and the servings were amazing. Only thing, its nothing different from what we've already tasted in Hawaii since there's a lot of Korean BBQ restaurants there. Overall, I would give it a 7/10 rating.
